You are preparing for surgery, and it is normal to feel some fear, worry or anxiety. In these sessions we will learn some psychological strategies to deal with these emotions..
Breathing, correctly and consciously, helps to deal with emotions and stress. We will share with you the secrets to better breathing during our meetings: we will teach you to breathe through your nose, to lengthen the phases of exhalation, and to be aware of your breathing. Of course, like any habit, even that of healthy breathing requires practice: for this reason it would be useful if you dedicated, every day, between 15 and 20 minutes of your time to the breathing practices that you will find in this booklet. Turn off the phone and the television, let the room you are in get some air, relax, and BREATHE!
